Acceptable Use Policy

This policy keeps our network fast, legal and safe for everyone. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every server hosted with Kairo Hosting.

Last updated:

1. The short version

Run your Minecraft community, be decent to other people, and do not use our infrastructure to attack anyone or to host illegal material. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask us first at support@kairohosting.com.

2. Prohibited content

You may not store, host, share or link to:

  • material that is illegal where we or you operate, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities without exception;
  • content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, including pirated software, plugins or server jars;
  • malware, ransomware, exploit kits, phishing pages or credential harvesters;
  • content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence or hatred against people or groups.

3. Prohibited network activity

You may not use our services to:

  • launch or participate in denial-of-service attacks, botnets, stressers or booters;
  • scan, probe or attempt to breach systems you do not own or have written permission to test;
  • send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or operate open proxies, open relays or anonymising exit nodes;
  • mine cryptocurrency, or run other workloads whose purpose is to consume as much CPU as possible;
  • circumvent resource limits, suspensions or bans, including by creating additional accounts.

4. Fair resource use

Your plan comes with defined RAM, CPU and storage. Our platform is shared, so a server that persistently degrades performance for others — for example through runaway plugins, extreme entity counts or disk abuse — may be throttled or suspended. We will normally contact you first and help you fix it before taking action.

5. Your community, your responsibility

You are responsible for what happens on your server, including the behaviour of your players and staff, the plugins and mods you install, and any content your users upload. Moderate your community, and make sure any rules you set are actually enforced.

6. Reporting abuse

If you see a server hosted with us breaking this policy, report it to support@kairohosting.com with the server IP and any evidence you have. We investigate every report we receive.

7. What happens if you break this policy

Depending on how serious the breach is, we may contact you, throttle the service, suspend the server, terminate the service, or — where we are legally required to — report the matter to the authorities and preserve relevant data. Serious breaches, especially illegal content or attacks on others, lead to immediate termination without refund, as set out in our Terms of Service.
